Who We Are
The South Asian Bar Association of Michigan (“SABA MI”), is the Michigan chapter of the North American South Asian Bar Association (“NASABA“) – an professional organization of Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, and Bangladeshi attorneys. SABA MI is proud to be an affinity bar association of the State Bar of Michigan.
Our Mission
•To promote the advancement and development of South Asian attorneys.
•To provide business and professional networking opportunities for South Asian attorneys.
•To support, guide and mentor South Asian law students.
•To provide a referral service to the South Asian community and to support the provision of legal services to the South Asian community.
•To enhance awareness and encourage resolution of legal issues of concern to the South Asian community and to increase the involvement of the South Asian community in civic affairs.
•To coordinate activities and exchange ideas and information with other South Asian bar associations.
•To provide an avenue for professionals, community leaders and others to take an interest in matters of concern to South Asian attorneys
